The club helped out with the car park at the Tyne Tour weekend and then paddle from Wark to Barrasford. Sadly the Hexham club has said that this is likely to be the last Tyne Tour as the numbers have been declining for the last few years.
The first week of November is when the Hexham club runs its Tyne Tour and the Coquet Club traditionally turns out to help. This year some of the river runners started the weekend with a run from Bellingham to Wark.
There haven’t been so many news posts on this site over the summer but the club remains very active, with sea and river paddles, canoe coaching sessions and camping trips. Septembers camping weekend was a chance to use a selection of boat types on easy flat water.
