Weather, Tides and River Levels
Canoeing and kayaking is very weather dependent and there is a wide range of websites providing forecasts and most of them also have apps you can download to your phone (the Windguru app is called Windy). Here is a selection:

If you are planning a sea paddle you might also want to check the Safer Seas site for sewage releases. There is also an app for this which can send location-based alerts.
If you are planning a river run you also need to check the river levels on the Environment Agency website https://riverlevels.uk/levels
