Warden Gorge

Warden Gorge on the North Tyne is a challenging run that the more intrepid club members occasionally enjoy. No pictures while paddling for this one – they had to concentrate on staying safe!

The last Tyne Tour?

The club helped out with the car park at the Tyne Tour weekend and then paddle from Wark to Barrasford. Sadly the Hexham club has said that this is likely to be the last Tyne Tour as the numbers have been declining for the last few years.

The first week of November is when the Hexham club runs its Tyne Tour and the Coquet Club traditionally turns out to help. This year some of the river runners started the weekend with a run from Bellingham to Wark.

Lots of action over the summer
