There are sessions at Amble and at Ladyburn lake to learn canoe skills. Canoeists join in some of the river runs with the kayakers.
Canoes are particularly good for camping from, with lots of room to carry gear, and regular trips are organised, either site camping or wild-camping from the canoe.
