Get-together at the lake
On Sunday, when the low tide made Shorebase unattractive, river boats, open canoes and sea kayaks all turned out for rescue practice at Ladyburn Lake while the water is still warm-ish. River skills practice on the Braid
The club river paddlers spend the summer paddling on the Coquet at Amble and Warkworth. When the tide is right they practise their moving water skills ready for the winter’s river runs as this video by Dave Burke shows.
Loch Lomond camping from canoes
Several Coquet Canoeists enjoyed a lovely weekend exploring the islands at Loch Lomond. Paddleability Day-16th July 2022
Volunteers from the CCC joined other clubs to take families with children with special needs for a fun day out on the Wansbeck using rafted canoes and Bell boats.
