Finally conditions to suit sea kayakers

The sea kayakers were able to get out on Sunday for the first time in a while. (Although they did manage a surfing session in the wave basin a couple of weeks ago.) A cold foggy start but the fog soon lifted and paddling warmed folks up. The sea was quite flat inside the harbour but a little bit lively outside it, not much swell but a confused sea, especially at the south end of the island. Most of the group hugged the coast as far as Hauxley beach and then returned but a few more experienced paddlers went round the island.
