The high winds this winter keep causing problems, especially for the sea kayakers. But rivers are often sheltered, last Sunday the only Club outing was the river paddle up the estuary from the Braid through Warkworth. The group included a few frustrated sea kayakers just glad to get on the water at last. The week before there were two river groups – one doing the run from Haydon Bridge to Hexham and another from Shorebase up the estuary (but no photos). More photos from Warkworth below.
