About Us

Hello and welcome to Coquet Canoe Club. We are based in Amble on the Coquet Estuary. We share a building with the Coquet Shorebase Trust, who are an umbrella organisation over three clubs: canoe, windsurfing and sailing. Facilities include changing rooms, showers, toilets and a classroom that can be used for social events. There is a good selection of craft to use whether you’re a beginner or have some paddling experience.

We aim to be inclusive giving everyone an opportunity to reach their potential in paddling skills. Our vision is to continue to offer value-for-money sessions, and have an objective to encourage our Leaders and Coaches to use their skills and experience to inspire members to follow in their footsteps. Hopefully this will keep the club going for future generations

We are a very active club, paddling year-round, locally and further afield. New members are very welcome. If you’re new to the area or just visiting, come and join us for a paddle. In the meantime, please take a look round this site and you can find more club news on our Facebook page.
