Last Sunday was a lovely day with no wind at all but the 1.8m swell outside Amble harbour made going out to sea impossible. Members of Coquet and Tynemouth clubs got together to practice rescues in the wave basin so that the potential leaders going in for an assessment could sharpen their skills. There aren’t any action shots because the participants spent so much time in and under the water that they didn’t manage to take any but Linda Pooley took these as she was passing by. We wish Dave and Gail good luck in their assessment.
